what were your reasons to become skijumping-coach in Turkey?

That I took that job in Turkey I can find two reasons.First of all I wanted to step into more quiet waters after that huge stress I had with the Slovenian federation and it's director last season and second I saw a big opportunity to help Turkey to develop a new sport discipline till university 2011 in Erzurum.

Can you tell me a little bit of your jumpers?

I and my two assistants from Slovenia /Bine Norcic and Ales Selak(Rok Benkovic's coach) had to start from beginning with totally new selection of the kids. They never had a ski jumping so we choose 16 boys from 9-12 years old.I also looked around the Europe for eventually jumpers with Turkish parents and I found one in Oberstdorf and as you maybe know him Baris Demirci from Corchevel.

How was your training till now?

All the boys except Baris and Erkan step first time on the ski jumping skis beginning of July.So everything was new for them.We had two 14 days long camps in Slovenia so far and next begins next Sunday.I plan to to find some competitions for the bests end of the summer.

Will your jumpers also join some competitons this summer?

With Baris I might participate at the FIS competitions in Oberwiesenthal and Falun.

What are your plans for the winter?

The next plan depends of his results as well as of how the boys will develop their technique of ski jumping. We plan to start also with new selection on the beginning of the winter straight in Erzurum / Turkey.
