At the COC in Brotterode we took a small interview with Dionis Vodnev from Kazakhstan.

Can you tell us something about the skijumping in Kazakhstan?
It's getting better and better. In Alma-Ata there will be a new skijumping-hill for there will be the asia-games in 2011. And we hope we will getting better, too. Also in the worldcup.

What about younger skijumpers?
Kazakhstan invests 2 million into skijumping during the next years. Also the younger skijumpers will be supported. And we hope that there will be some good ones very soon.

Let's talk about the worldcup-team. Are you planning to join the skiflying-world-championships?
Yes, we will send the whole team to Oberstdorf.

How was you training in summer?

This was our biggest problem this year. We had no training in skijumping, we came to the competitions without any trainings-jumps. This was the same with the summer-competitions as with the winter-competitions. That's why we had some problems at the beginning of the season. But now the whole team is getting better. Radik Zhaparov was 12th at yesterdays competition, that's really good. Also the other ones get more and more good jumps.

Thank you for the interview!
